About Us

PIAD's Mission

Beginning in 1967 as a joint venture between an American manufacturing company and the inventors of the PIAD Chill Cast Process, PIAD specializes in copper-based permanent mold manufacturing with a focus in casting conversions.

Upon pivoting to casting conversions as a main business focal point, PIAD drastically enlarged its customer pool and business success. By providing functional components via our very own techniques, PIAD has been able to differentiate itself from the rest of the industry. Customers have been given opportunities to save both time and money by switching to our metal castings.

At our core, we believe we can expand the casting market customer base by directly competing against traditional permanent mold manufacturing with our original PIAD Chill Cast Process. Pairing our unique knowledge in the permanent mold industry with extensive quality standards, PIAD has risen to become an industry leader in precision castings.

PIAD: Main Facility

Located in the heart of Greensburg, our main facility features near 30,000 square feet of production space.

Corporate Building

Located right next door to our main facility, our finance and administrative building was a new addition in 2025.

LMC Machining Shop

Located in the Westmoreland County AirPark near Latrobe Regional Airport, our LMC Machining Shop handles secondary machining operations.

Dr. Henric Adey | CEO & CFO of PIAD Precision Casting

Henric brings a deep connection to PIAD’s heritage as a fourth-generation descendant of the company’s founding family in Europe. With a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University and over 20 years of experience in finance, consulting, and international tax, Henric combines strong analytical expertise with a global perspective.

His cross-functional background and leadership experience uniquely position him to guide PIAD into its next phase of growth — continuing our long tradition of precision, innovation, and quality in permanent mold casting while building new capabilities for the future.

Audra Hier | VP of Sales and Administration, CCO & CAO

My professional journey at PIAD reflects a remarkable trajectory driven by passion, expertise, and a profound understanding of manufacturing dynamics.

Beyond fostering a positive work atmosphere, my team and I have been working towards revitalizing PIAD's financial health by analyzing costing and pricing strategies to elevate profitability. My role extends to Finance, Human Resources, Customer Service, Sales and Engineering, and Production Scheduling. Additionally, we have forged impactful partnerships with the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce, industry clubs, and local schools, initiating programs to nurture talent from an early age and strengthen community ties.

My management style is a testament to hands-on approach and visionary leadership, driven by a profound commitment to both operational excellence and the well-being of my team. My journey exemplifies resilience, strategic foresight, and a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of inclusive and forward-thinking management practices within the manufacturing industry.

Roamell Mehta | Director of Technical Sales and Engineering

Roamell Mehta is the Director of Technical Sales and Engineering, responsible for aligning advanced engineering capabilities with strategic sales execution to deliver sustainable revenue growth and customer value. With extensive experience bridging commercial strategy and technical execution, Roamell leads cross-functional teams that translate complex engineering solutions into compelling, market-ready offerings.

In this role, Roamell oversees technical sales, applications engineering, and customer solution development, ensuring close collaboration between engineering, operations, and finance. Known for a data-driven and customer-centric approach, Roamell works closely with key accounts to understand technical requirements, develop tailored solutions, and support long-term partnerships across diverse industries.

Roamell brings a strong background in manufacturing and industrial environments, with a proven track record of driving growth through product innovation, process optimization, and disciplined execution. Prior to this role, he held leadership positions in different countries spanning engineering management, product development, and technical sales, consistently delivering measurable business impact.

Roamell Mehta holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in Finance and is recognized for building high-performing teams, strengthening customer trust, and aligning technical excellence with commercial success.
